Totally Immersed The Polish Experience

About

Poland was embracing freedom and capitalism in 1991 when I was a visiting professor in Wroclaw and living in a small village on its outskirts. Poland changed dramatically from drab and boring to pastel and exciting while my wife and I confronted mini-dramas like lighting a coal furnace or navigating border crossings with a new car. Through it all, friendly, caring Poles were always there to facilitate our adjustment to their culture.
